PrimeCare's Version Nine System Incorporates
Argentine-Specific Insurance Support
Newport News, VA Februrary 10, 2009 PrimeCare Systems,
Inc., . (OTCBB:PCYS) announced today that its flagship product, the
PrimeCare Patient Management System, Version Nine, (the Version Nine
System) has incorporated specific support for producing documentation
required by insurance companies in Argentina. Specifically, two insurance
forms, known as the Bono and Anexo can now be produced automatically
during the patient scheduling process or at any time needed during
the patient encounter.
The Bono and Anexo forms are specific to unique medical insurance
documentation requirements in Argentina. Prior to use of the Version
Nine System, preparation of the Bono and Anexo forms was a time-consuming
manual process that resulted in long delays for receipt of payment
for medical services. With the automated capability available within
the Version Nine System, these forms are created automatically, based
on patient scheduling information. Once created, the forms are permanently
stored electronically in PrimeCare's secure data center, and can be
recalled and reprinted on demand from any location with authorized
access to the data.
Impetus for development of this capability came from suggestions
made by users of the Version Nine System at Hospital A. R. Isola,
in Puerto Madryn, Chubut, Argentina. Hospital Isola has been the primary
point of introduction for the Version Nine System in Argentina, and
many of the enhancements made to the Version Nine System have resulted
directly from feedback from the physicians and staff at Hospital Isola.
