IDAutomation's SC5 family of inexpensive scanners support both linear and two-dimensional bar code scanning, and are available with USB connections and as wireless bluetooth connectivity, for use up to fifty feet from the cradle. The SC5 scanners represent the best value handheld in their class. They offer the performance of a laser scanner with no moving parts to wear out at a lower cost. The CCD scan engine can read smaller barcodes better than many lasers scanners and still read large barcodes.
