PrimeCare Selects IDAutomation's SC5 Scanner
as Preferred Bar Code Scanner
Newport News, VA - March 3, 2009 - PrimeCare Systems, Inc., (OTCBB:PCYS)
announced today that it has selected
IDAutomation.com Inc., of Tampa, Florida as its preferred and
recommended source for bar code scanners for use with its flagship
product, the PrimeCare Patient Management System, Version Nine.
IDAutomation's SC5 family of inexpensive scanners support both linear
and two-dimensional bar code scanning, and are available with USB
connections and as wireless bluetooth connectivity, for use up to
fifty feet from the cradle. The SC5 scanners represent the best value
handheld in their class. They offer the performance of a laser scanner
with no moving parts to wear out at a lower cost. The CCD scan engine
can read smaller barcodes better than many lasers scanners and still
read large barcodes. The SC5 scanner scans linear bar codes that are
up to 4.2" wide from near contact to about 10" away at 200
scans per second. In addition, the SC5 scanners can be exported for
use by PrimeCare's overseas clients. Both linear (Code128) and two-dimensional
(PDF417) bar codes are used within the PrimeCare Patient Management
System.
