Our internet-browser based product provides
a unique means to enhance healthcare and care giving. PrimeCare on
the Web uses Internet technology to connect patients and their
healthcare providers. PrimeCare on the Web provides
Internet accessible versions of the PrimeCare Patient Management
System's patient interactive medical history questionnaires. PrimeCare
on the Web™ also allows physicians to schedule appointments and check
patient interview progress from the web.
PrimeCare on the Web
enables the patient to complete one or more detailed medical history
questionnaires that relate to the patient's medical complaint. The
patient, using a unique user ID and password, can securely and anonymously
begin a scheduled appointment by completing questionnaire(s) from
the comfort of their home, workplace, school, vacation site or even
while waiting to see their physician. The easy to read questionnaires
have been in use for the past 10 years in a number of different medical
settings. The patient questions can be viewed in English or Spanish.
PrimeCare on the Web generates
a detailed medical report containing the patient's responses and a
list of diagnostic possibilities triggered by those responses. The
report is sent by fax, electronic mail or other means to the physician's
office, or it can be viewed by the physician from the web site.
PrimeCare on the Web
is secure. Only authorized physicians can access their own patients'
reports; patient names are never used. Unique patient user IDs and
passwords are generated for each Internet interview; these access
passwords expire with use or by a specified date and time. In addition,
communication with the PrimeCare on the Web server uses digital
certificates, and questions and answers are encrypted during transmission.
